4506-C - IRS Rejection Codes

Code Reason
IRS Code 1: Entity We are unable to process this order due to a problem with the Name or SSN. The name or SSN does not match their internal file or it may appear illegible or altered on the 4506-C. Please verify the information and resubmit your order with the changes on the 4506-C as needed.
IRS Code 2: Address Rejection We are unable to process this order because the address on the 4506-C may not match the IRS's master taxpayer records. Please ensure the current address on Line 3 matches exactly what they used to file the most recent returns.
IRS Code 3: Identity Rejection We are unable to process this order due to a name and/or SSN/EIN mismatch for the information you have listed on line 1 & 1b and or 2 & 2b. The information was altered (without taxpayer initials), illegible, missing, incomplete, or invalid. Please correct the information and submit a new request with the new 4506-C.
IRS Code 4: SOR Rejection We are unable to process this order citing a problem with the filing requirement of the company.
IRS Code 5: Product Rejection We are unable to process this order because some information on line 6-9 of the 4506-C appears altered (All information between lines 6-9 must all be typed in the same font and font size or all information must be hand written, including the X's or check marks in the check boxes). Alterations include white-out, erasures, information added, written over or crossed out.
IRS Code 6: Signature Rejection We are unable to process this order due to a problem with the signature on the 4506-C. The IRS will not accept any electronically signed request, where the electronic signature covers or overlaps the Attestation Clause verbiage.
IRS Code 7: Date Rejection We are unable to process this order because the signature date on the 4506-C is illegible, altered, or missing.
IRS Code 8: Illegible Rejection We are unable to process this order because some or all of the information on the 4506-C is illegible.
IRS Code 9: Altered Form Rejection We are unable to process this order because some information on the 4506-C appears altered. Alterations include white-out erasures, information added, written over or crossed out.
IRS Code 10: Limitations We are unable to process this order citing IRS Code 10. File marked as having possible ID theft or fraudulent tax returns filed under tax payers SSN. We are unable to obtain transcripts as a third party using the 4506-C. Please note that we are no longer able to accept transcripts faxed or mailed for the consumer once they have received a Code 10 rejection. All transcripts received would have to go directly to you the lender.
